I went to vote this morning and waited in a long line but only noticed less than a handful of people under 30. It may just have been the time that I voted but I live in a part of my city full of young professionals so I was surprised to not see more young people in line at the polling place. For others here that have voted have you noticed a large youth turnout? Being that the under 30 crowd is the most liberal demographic in the country it could bode well for Romney if they are staying home.

P.S I am still predicting an Obama win so don't accuse me of wishful thinking.

Seeing that I live in the fringe of the 5th largest university campus in the country, youth turnout was high.

I predict it to be less than 2008, but not drop enough to give Romney the win.

I wouldn't be so sure. In a state as close as Ohio or Virginia, just a small drop in turnout among a demographic in which 7 out of 10 vote for Obama could mean the difference.

That's true. I was worried about that listening to some of the people in line with me. While in my state it doesn't matter as much if a person or two leaves the line because it's too long, in the close ones it could make or break it.
