For the fourth consecutive day Republicans outpaced Democrats in Washoe County in-person early voting. Republicans cast 3613 votes for a 39.4% share while Democrats cast 3429 ballots for a 37.4%. The expected Thursday ramp-up increased turnout 19% over the Thursday result with 9162 ballots cast. Republicans now trail in-person early voting by 646 ballots. But the net gain of 184 ballots extends Republicans overall lead with the combined absentee and mail-in early ballots. The aggregate Washoe lead now stands at 375 more ballots cast by Republicans than Democrats, a far cry from the 12k advantage Democrats enjoyed in 2008. Washoe’s going red people … get used to it. If Romney is winning a majority of the Independent vote and the Clark GOP keeps its close . . .

Fortunately for the Obama swooners, the election is already over so they don't have to worry about pesky details...like Obama's early voting margin in Nevada down 12,000 votes in Washoe County compared to 2008.

The OP didnt say Romney won, he said the GOP won by getting more people out to vote.

This is no different than you left wing kooks running around claiming Obama is winning because more Democrats voted early..

My Grandpappy in Oklahoma used to say ..."As Washoe, Nevada goes, so goes the Nation"

Another thread intended to convince doubtful Romney supporters. How many of these does it take, I would have thought that the 87th thread would have done the job

Washoe has a slight voter enrollment edge for the GOP so it would make sense more Republicans would vote early. Overall 46.38% of registered Republicans in Washoe have either voted early or have turned in ballots, 46.78% of registered Dems have done the same.

The OP conveniently and ignorantly fails to mention the largest population center in the state, Clark County, going overwhelmingly for Obama. Guess it's harmless to let you have your delusions 1 more week.

I still don't know how anyone knows this. Isn't anyone voting for local politicians or new local laws? How do they know when I vote (we don't register by party in my state) I'm not voting for Romney (R) for President, Joey Huckleberry (D) for County Clerk and the Outlaw Lima Beans Proposition 113?

Do they guess based on how I presidential primary voted (R or D)? What about people who don't vote in the primaries?

Your week's up! Wow Washoe County really pulled thru for President-elect Romney! Maybe those incompetent cops from Reno 911 were the election officials
