Most Venezuelans live in poverty, many of them in shanty towns, some of which sprawl over the hillsides around the capital, Caracas. Mr Chavez has also aligned himself with Russia and Iran, and has frequently expressed support for anti-Western leaders in the Middle East and elsewhere.

You can't control who supports you, but you have absolute control over who you allow to represent your campaign. Putting "the Donald" in a leadership role is sleazy enough on it's own, but then for Romney to just stand there and say nothing when Trump launched that awful birther attack this week says volumes about Romney--he's a gutless coward with zero decency.

My mother always said that the company you keep speaks volumes about your character...or lack of it. It looks like Trump and Romeny are a match made from the bottom of a garbage pail.

Well, applying those rules, I would say that Eva Longoria's position as co-chair of Obama's campaign is all the reason women need to vote for Romney.

Other than calling Romney a 'racist/misogynistic tw*t', and declaring that any woman/minority voting for him must be stupid? Other than that, not much I guess.

ha! so she did. i agree that is a pretty crappy thing to say (tweet) and i do think it looks poorly on obama for keeping her on as co-chair (even tho she apologized) but, imo, a single subjective tweet (tw*t) can't compare to trump's ongoing birther antics.
