Obama May Do Social Security Reform During Lame Duck Session, Senate Democrats Worry

This is why nothing will get done if the democrats have any control of government. They can not compromise. They can not even submit a budget!

If you read the article you would see that the author's fear is that Obama will compromise with Republicans and implement their proposal for an adjusted cost of living increase calculation that would lower benefits over time. So far there are only tenuous indications, if any, that Obama would do this.

Yes FEAR of compromise. Those senators can block compromise like they have done.

Who knew Huff Post could ever publish anything that could tarnish the perfection and sanctity of their supreme leader? Maybe I should call a local church and ask them if hall has frozen over.

That President Obama wants to do do something that may be unpopular with more liberal Senators in order to get a compromise from Republicans to keep Social Security solvent... So, vote Republican.

What nonsense. If you read your own link. It says Obama will cut a deal with the GOP to cut SS benefits in return for raising taxes on the wealthy. That's the compromise. Your group gets to minimize tax hikes on the wealthy who own this country/government, in return for cutting middle class tax benefits.

How anybody middle class or poor can vote for this back stabber Obama or anyone associated with Republicans GOP is far beyond me.

American voter are likely the stupidest voters in the World and I say that with all seriousness.

I posted at least 4 articles on this liberal sources over the last year.

You can't get anything right.

How you can vote GOP and look your kids and grandkids in the face as their SS benefits are cut is beyond me.

You're a victim of right wing propaganda. If you lifted the SS tax cap on on wealthy incomes this would solve 90% of the budget shortfall. Instead due to your ignorance, you'll have your kids and grandkids just take a 20% hit of the SS benefits to make it "solvent". Like the rich elites tell you to. You can't think for yourself.
