I'm curious because this is something I have decided to do this year. Rarely ever have I donated to a political campaign ... however, I feel strongly about Romney, and I truly believe that he is the man for the job. Not that Romney already has enough money on his own, but I have a feeling this election might be a close one, and Romney stands the greatest chance of losing thus far.

Most of all, I want to see Obama defeated. Most of his policies reek of socialism, and they will not improve the economy. Nearly four years of him in power has pretty much proven that. The stimulus, the cash for clunkers, the massive health care package, and so on have not made things any better. In fact, while these government handouts had good intentions, they have really done nothing more than stall recovery and made things worse in some cases. The national debt has skyrocketed since Obama became President ... and I thought G.W. Bush was bad in this regard! People's health insurance rates & prescription drug costs have increased (not decreased) since the passage of Obamacare. Are we better off than we were four years ago? Most of us seriously can't say yes to that question.

We need somebody who will reduce the size of government, cut spending, and turn most federal programs over to local/state control, or the private sector. We need a distinguished successful businessman who will run the country like a reputable business. I see Romney as the best Republican candidate for President since Ronald Reagan. It's time to give him a try.

If anyone buys from Angel Soft Tissue, Georgia Pacific, Dixie Cups, ... etc. AKA Koch Industries, yep, you are giving money to Romney

It hasn't been for the past 4 years and look what it has gotten us. If our government was a business...we'd be out of business with our current debt and credit rating.

I also have never made a political donation before, but made one this year. I am an independent who feels strongly that we need Romney to turn this country around. And thanks to the person who told me about Angel Soft - will definitely go on my shopping list.
