That's exactly right--my husband was an attorney working in state government, and we couldn't afford for him to work there anymore as our family grew. He makes more than three times what he made in state government now. This myth of over paid public workers is just that--a myth.

His plan is to cut taxes on the wealthy, build defense up even more, make China stop adding tariffs to our goods (somehow), change the WTO to the "Reagan zone" (Cutting Russia out...and most likely, China as well, since they won't play nice, i.e. Do what Mitt tells them to do.")

His plan to create jobs is basically to make more money available to rich people, who are sitting on tons of money, right now, and aren't making jobs.

Makes sense, right? As you can see, jobs are recovering under Obama, without the plan. Mitt is somehow going to make 100,000 or so more jobs a month magically appear with tax cuts.

Do you live in BIZARRO WORLD where the unemployment rate going from 8.2% to 8.3% is "recovering"?

Romney promises 12 million jobs in first term - Aug. 2, 2012

That means from day one, he'll have to add 250,000 jobs a month, every month of every year.

1. Obama is not approving Keystone

2. Obama has no plan to restore the economy

3. Obama has no plan to reduce federal spending

4. After Obama is gone, the economy will improve. Why?

a. Obamacare repealed
b. current tax rates left alone
c. corporate tax rates cut
d. EPA de-fanged
e. domestic oil and gas exploration
f. limits on coal lifted

Even liberals will be better off economically under Romney. Further, they will be happy, as they can complain about a republican in the white house and we all know how happy liberals are when they are complaining.

Or Bizarro World where the GOP cuts 600,000 state workers in the name of fiscal responsibility, adding about 1% to the unemployment figures....and then blames Obama for it!

Mr. Obama has said that the company must reroute the pipeline to avoid sensitive lands and waters before he will consider granting a construction permit.

When they increase, there are more people competing for the same job, unemployment goes up.

It's time to be fiscally responsible, seeing how entire cities are going bankrupt. Obama's not to blame for all of it, but his spending party certainly is.

Obama is in bed with the environmental lobby and does what they say. He's dismantling the coal industry and destroying entire towns. Ask the folks in Madison, WVA how they feel about a once thriving, now dying community. They have 14% unemployment and small businesses are struggling. Obama promised to work for a thriving clean-coal industry, then once elected he did the opposite and shut it all down. In the meantime, other countries will be happily burning coal without any environmental concerns at all. Remember, it takes fuel to generate electricity. Without coal, we all pay more for energy. Oh, I forgot - Obama said he wanted our electric costs to go sky high.

Ah yes, and Republicans are in bed with the coal and oil industry....which is why funding for elections should be completely public and across the board. Anything to eliminate private lobbying funding and to reduce special interest groups pulling strings with politicians.

Giving tax breaks will hardly stimulate the economy. Been there done that during the Bush years and little did it do to create new jobs. Secondly, firms are sitting on billions of dollars but are not hiring. Giving them more money won't help, the reason being that we are in a period when people are deleveraging, so aggregate demand is low. The only way to stimulate the economy would be for the government to pick up the slack from consumers and spend far more than what has taken place so far, but with gridlock in Washington, this is a non-start. Romney's tax cuts would only produce greater debts, with few new jobs. OTOH, Romney has promised to reduce federal spending from 24% of gross domestic product to 20%, and that would translate into a loss of jobs.

So his claim that it would produce 12 million jobs, or add 250,000 jobs every 30 days for 48 straight months is full of air.
