Massachusetts had the weakest employment growth of any state from 2002 to 2006 except for Mississippi and Louisiana, which suffered the brunt of Hurricane Katrina, and Michigan itself, which was buffeted by the auto industry’s woes.

Interesting...

What was Romney doing if Massachusetts had the weakest employment growth of any state from 2002 to 2006?

You think obstructionism is bad now? Imagine if Obama had a congress that was 89% Republican. That's what Romney dealt with.

Massachusetts AKA 'Taxachusetts' is traditionally the MOST liberal state in the union. It was the only state to go for the far-left George McGovern in the election of 1972. In other words, more or less the model on which Barack Obama (who won the state 62-36 in 2008) would like to remake the entire nation.

Congrats OP, you make a great case for Romney for Prez, 2012.

Did you read his other thread where the OP was whinning beause wages under Romney went up? They had to play with the numbers so bad that they broke it out by week, and then adjusted it for inflation, and then spread it out over 5 years, to get the number low, but then it was still positive.. But the OP is a huge Obama supporer, even though wages have dropped dramatically under this administration.. haha

Unemployment fell during Romney's term as governor. It dropped to below 4.5% by the end of his term. You cannot have 0% UE (well, you can with today's formula, but you know what I mean).

But more importantly, despite those statistics, MA is still a leader in the nation in education and for big startups (Boston is a world leading city for starting up firms). Yes, MA is very Democratic and deeply liberal, but the people of MA are also, in general, very well off and much better off than other states with lower unemployment and bigger statewide industries. Even today, MA is below the national average in UE.

Wow, and still, his record was better than Obama's.

And they seem to be very well paid. I almost have to ask myself if the OP wants people to be poor..

Balanced Budget, 4.5% UE, healthcare bill that's paid for and does't violate the constitution, lower taxes... I'll take it. Call it good, bad, indifferent - the label doesn't matter. that's all stuff the American people want.

It's also important to keep in mind Romney had to deal with an 89% Democratic legislature.

Very true and very well said!!

Obama can spew his lies walking....out the door of the white house. It is time for real change and to put an end to the blame and shame.
