"My test is pretty simple. Is the program so critical that it's worth borrowing money from China to pay for? And on that basis, of course you get rid of Obamacare. That's the easy one. But there are others. Planned Parenthood, we're going to get rid of that. There's a subsidy for Amtrak. I would eliminate that. National Endowment for the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities. Both excellent programs but we just can't afford to borrow money to pay for those things," he said."
I like what he says here. We should not be indebted to China for birth control or art or train travel. A government with a healthy economy can afford to consider such things. That is not us right now. Let the private sectors kick in where desirable.

Good for him....the challenge I have is I am not convinced Romney is a movement Conservative, therefore my question would be to Mitt if the money was there and we did not have to borrow it from China, would you then think these things are ok for the government to be doing?
So no $$ for things critical to women's health needs such as cervical cancer screenings papsmears, treatments for ovarion cancer, but has no problems with spending the $$$ to prepare for the war with Iran he has saber rattled about....

Do you think that is what Planned Parenthood concentrates on overall?

Yup. The GOP's war on women continues.....with Mittens picking up the mantle.
How there are any women still left in the republi-thug party never ceases to amaze me.
Of course, Mittens had a different position on PP when it was convenient, and beneficial, to him:

For Romney to now say that he wants to "get rid" of Planned Parenthood seems to contradict his prior positions, when he sought Planned Parenthood's endorsement during his run for governor, attended a fundraiser for the family planning provider and filled out a survey in which he said he supported state-funded abortions for low-income women.

Constitution clearly provides for the Military.....cervicle screenings.......not so much.
