Former General Electric CEO Jack Welch on Monday said, "In my lifetime, Mitt Romney is the most qualified leader I've ever seen run for the Presidency of the United States."
Appearing on CNBC's Squawk Box, Welch included John F. Kennedy, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama in this analysis (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

After discussing Romney's Harvard degrees, Welch addressed the Republican presidential candidate's building of Bain Capital, how he saved the Olympics after 9/11, won the governorship of Massachusetts, and solved that state's budget problems.
"We haven't had anybody do all these things," said Welch. "You think Richard Nixon did that? Do you think Bill Clinton had those credentials?"
Welch continued, "Certainly Barack Obama didn't have those credentials. Two years in the Senate. I mean, come on."

The $720 million dollar man urging the 99% to vote for the $250 million dollar man. What can possibly be wrong with this picture?

Having NOW...heard and objectively observed ALL these Candidates, Mitt Romney clearly appears to be 'Head and shoulders' the better candidate for the GOP choice to oppose Obama!!

Much easier to get favors from a big gubmint liberal-moderate who supported TARP. This way he can hedge his bets. Either black Obama or white Obama wins and status quo corporatism continues.

The guy would never consider Paul because flat corporate taxes don't benefit Fortune 500ers who offshore and instead strengthen their competition who might seek to gain market share on them.

How is this different from when Oprah endorsed John Kerry?
Both are billionaires.

You are talking as if you saw me doing cartwheels when Oprah endorsed Kerry.

Oh wait, you think I am a liberal.
