In what has been called one of the most volatile Republican presidential campaigns in history, the Republican Party actually grew one percentage point in December while Democrats dropped two points to the lowest level ever, according to Rasmussen Reports.

The new survey found that, in December, 35.4 percent of Americans considered themselves Republicans, compared with 34.3 percent in November, Rasmussen Reports says. The party’s highest number for the year was 35.6 percent in May.

Great news for America! The Democrat Party as it is currently construed is a conglomeration of liberal extremists, crony capitalists, special interest groups, and socialists. No American should have anything to do with the Democrat Party.

Democrats and Independents joining the GOP to vote for Ron Paul. If Ron Paul leaves, they will leave too, plus the Ron Paul supporters already in the GOP. They are not here to kneel and pray at the GOP altar, don't worry.

I am not entirely sure how Ron Paul supporters will go and vote for Obama, which represents the antithesis of Ron Paul. If anything, they would go third party.

So, in the end, both parties lose.

Well you are aware the majority of Independents consider themselves conservative don't you? I wouldn't count on them leaving, Yes, the peace and freedom nut cases that have joined the Republican party just to support Paul will leave, the majority of them might not even bother to re-register, but the Independents, that could be different.

Consider your news source before the crazy talk.

This is precisely why a lot of Paul supporters will support Romney if given no alternative. Whatever it takes to get Obama out of the White House, do that. Obama is a debt and hyper-inflation machine. Nobody has ever done more to destroy the future of America in such a short amount of time.

Now if we can get Ron Paul into the White House, yes by all means do that.

Yes, they joined the GOP to vote for Ron Paul in the primary. If Ron Paul magically won the primariy (won't happen), they would run right back to Obama in the general.

We have already demonstrated that the objective of the Ron Paul people is a second Obama term. Try and keep up.

Relying on a polling organization that managed to get an election wrong by 40 points probably isn't the best idea. For 2010, Rasmussen was the least accurate pollster.
