I've been saying it for awhile that Romney would give Obama the most competition as long as he stays away from religion. Many Independents think Perry mixes his religious beliefs with politics too much, while many see Romney as a businessman whose focus is on the economy and not so much about abortion, same-sex issues etc. I support Obama, but if a Republican were to win, I'd hope it's Romney or Ron Paul.
Its really sad and scary at this point...to think that either Obama, Romney, or Perry is our next president, its just 4 more wasted and potentially disastrous years ahead of us. I almost think that if we had nobody in office and just went on auto pilot we would be better off.
Rasmussen is the fox news of polls and usually highly inaccurate with it's hard right wing bias.
Let's look at an unbiased source where Obama is beating everyone

Your "unbiased source" RCP uses Rasmussen as one of it's main sources for data.
Not to mention the link she posted ALSO show Romney ahead of Obama in some of those polls.
Most polls are biased. The truth lies in the actual voting......look at all the recent elections where the GOP candidates have won, look at the NLRB losing power, look at the socialistic agendas from the demwits coming to a halt.....The people have spoken and conservatives will take back this country.

That' how unbiased works. You take a look at all sides and then come up with a median outcome.

That's the key word, just as Obama is dominating Romney in some polls. Overall Obama is beating every single GOP candidate

LOL! I can hear the banjos playing and the moonshine chugging from here. The people have spoken loud and clear they are sick of the tea party radicals and their america destroying agenda. Get ready for the fascist right to get steamrolled by liberty in 2012
Perceived electability over Barack Obama is not a valid criteria for selecting a GOP nominee. If it were, then we might as well dump all the candidates and nominate Hillary. How would she poll against Obama at this point?
No, Republicans need to be who they are. No compromises this time, no hiding positions, no toning down. People will vote their values in 2012, and the contrast between Obama and the GOP nom must be real.
As they say, electability is the fool's gold of politics.
