Ron Paul, who counts among his heros Ghandi, Rosa Parks, and MLK because of the way they used civil disobedience, is Americas Ghandi. It is disrespectful to make uninformed comments.

Ron Paul doesnt. He has some truth on his side. but he also has wacky ideas that dont work in the impolite society we have.
yea like following the Constitution,
don't go to war against a country that didnt attack us
don't manipulate the economy and therefore avoid the catastrophic housing collapse that ruined our economy.

You don't know much about the gold standard otherwise you wouldn't make this silly comment. Ask China about gold.
But why go with what works, Yes We Can!!

If a liberal site, like Huff Po, has positive Ron Paul articles it is only because they view him as the easiest Republican to defeat in 2012.

Liberals and Paul can agree on the "no war" stuff, but once they get to the exceptionally important economic policies/ideas they will be as far apart as possible.

the funny thing is the foreign policy they agree with Ron Paul on would save us more money than any economic policy. All that money saved from not extending our empire can be used to take care of the current promised entitlements.

Oh, thank you, emilybh. That's the kindest thing anyone has said lately to this 65-year old Vietnam vet...I HAVE tried to stay in shape....

I don't think you read the articles. They were all very PRO Ron Paul! They listed the reasons people voted for Obama; where Obama didn't live up to those promises and where Ron Paul has a proven track record of supporting those issues.

Exactly and we'd not only save from the stupid cost of the wars we have no business being involved in but we'd be seen as not as much of a BIG MEAN BULLY by other countries across the world by FINALLY minding our own business!

Not a snowball's chance in hell of Paul getting the nomination, much less becoming POTUS. Enjoy your bubble while you can...

And I'm stating that these are just sidebar articles to get some attention to Paul. Just chit chat during the long campaign.

Once the discussion switches over to Ron Paul's past votes on jobs, minority rights, abolishing Social Security, minimum wage, abortion and hate crime legislation the support from liberals will completely evaporate.

I guarantee you that in a general election, with the intense critical analysis of past votes, Paul won't get any support from liberals.

Why is that?
He's WINNING or placing second or third in all the polls.

Do you think Americans are "happy" with where the country is headed? If so you may be right because none of the candidates except for Ron Paul, Gary Johnson and 3rd party candidates offer any alternative to what we've had for the last 5 years or so or really 11 years. If people want the country flushed down the toilet, vote for Obama, Perry or Romney.

I'd like to think Americans would come to their senses before the election and realize what has been going on and for the first time in many decades vote for someone who will do GOOD for the country and not just be a puppet to the global elites.
