There goes my hope of having a sane GOP candidate. Back to the drawing board.

Huntsman can speak Chinese, Bachmann gets confused ordering Chinese.

Huntsman has come out and said he believes in evolution. He has said he believes in the scientists who study climate change, that it’ s happening and that man is causing it. He’s come out and said how ridiculous Michelle Bachmann sounds when she says she’ll get gas down below $2.00 a gallon. And now, Huntsman is throwing out a general blanket over the rest of the GOP, warning his party is in danger of looking like the “Anti-Science” party.

Forget the drawing board. It's official...there really are body snatchers!

Huntsman wouldn't commit to asking Bachmann to be his VP even though Piers Morgan pressed him about it...Huntsman was gracious by saying he might consider serving as Bachmann's VP...I doubt that he liked any of this questioning about Bachmann. But good for him for handling it like a gentleman and being gracious about all of it...Piers Morgan was just giving him a bad time and asking trick questions. (He likes to be playful and bratty with guests at times.) This is how he seems to me anyway. Guess it's considered his charm or ???

Great. All of this good sense is exactly why he has already been dismissed as a RINO Mormon already. They will nominate Perry.

When Bachmann finds out how Huntsman has been dissing her there's no way she'll pick him
as her running mate.....not like she'll have to pick one anyway!

I think Palin would be a better match. Nevertheless, I'm disappointed that Huntsman would even consider being Bachmann's running mate.

He should have added "call me crazy" after saying this.

The thread has misquoted him. He said he would serve his country. He did not say he would be her VP. Frankly, if she were elected, we should be glad that he would consider it. Someone needs to be steady at the wheel while she is gone for days because of her migraine issues.

Honestly, I can't believe anyone would get worked up over that remark. First off, Huntsman knows that would never, ever happen. I seriously think that all he was doing was demonstrating that his first priority would be to serve his country. He served under Obama and everybody got freaked out over that. He said that if Bachmann asked him to be her running mate, he'd accept. So what? It was a totally hypothetical question and his response -- to me, at least -- was to show that he can work with people of both parties. It certainly wasn't some kind of an endorsement of Bachmann. I think I'd question the sanity of anyone who would, on the basis of that one comment, dismiss him as a "sane GOP candicate."
