The topic is Rick Perry's statement that evolution is a theory with cracks. Dont turn it into some hate for god and those who believe in him because you didnt know that evolution is defined as a theory, even in the scientific community.

Evolution as theory and fact - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Another way "fact" is used is to refer to a certain kind of theory

Why did you omit the rest of the story? Perry went on to say that the believes the "theory" of evolution is wrong and creationism is right

Perry then told the boy: "In Texas, we teach both creationism and evolution. I figure you're smart enough to figure out which one is right."

So? He's entitled to his own theories, just like everyone else in the world has one. Furthermore he did not say at all what you claim he said, you are ASSuming thats what he meant.

I'm an athiest, but I do find holes in evolution.

This video has strong arguments against evolution.

Why are you implying that he only stated that is was a theory and never endorsed creationism?

Where did he say this?

Looks like you and your kind are out of the mainstream;

78% believe God created humans in present form OR had a hand in guiding.

I'd say Perry is definitely on the right side of the issue.

Amazing, isn't it? In their zeal to zing Perry on something, anything, they damage their credibility at the same time.

Op? You DO know Evolution is a theory, right?
