After reading some of the replies on another thread I felt I had to ask this. If Paul gets the GOP nomination, who should his running mate be? I ask this because it is very important to the Independent Voters and many Republicans. We saw how the last election for the Whitehouse went and what affect the running mate had on the election, who would You want as Pauls running mate?

this is a tough to discuss i think depending on how ron paul views his runnning mate on economics etc he might find someone who helped him audit the fed. Or has the general ideas on liberty thou he could look at the people running against him in the primaries but have to see about that.

It think its to early to discuss.

Dear Casper from Dallas,

I think you might be putting the cart before the horse.

Casper is just being theoretical. Paul/Romney would probably be the case, but Romney/Paul would have a much better shot at victory.

Hmmmmm, I see speculation all the time on this board, but all of a sudden few want to even try and name his running mate. Am I asking a question you are afraid to answer because the answer might turn people off to Paul?
I will add that I only ask this about Paul because if anyone else gets the GOP nomination it will not matter who their running mate is, they will lose anyway. IMO only Paul stands a chance of drawing in enough Inde voters to get elected but the choice of running mate can swing it away or towards him.

Somebody with executive experience.

The governors should pick somebody with foreign affairs experience.

This is an important question. The man is 75 years old, after all.

You just love Perry dont you? lol
What is the interest in executives seriously many of our great presidents didnt need to be executives in fact I would prefer someone who doesn't have that background.
From this race of republicans I don't need someone who thinks like a democrat supported democrats, likes to ship jobs overseas, like state run healthcare and is a prick.
I'm just sayings.

That would be an odd couple pairing as Romney is a Progressive with the history to prove it. (Romneycare, Mass. AWB, against state's rights). For the life of me I cannot understand why some self-professed conservatives keep rushing to back the Bilderburger globalists with the biggest smile and best hair.

Wake up people!

I honestly don't see anyone in the Republican party worthy of that position.
