Huh? A lot of Democrats are upset at Obama because he's too center. Despite what various Republican candidates seem to be screaming about far left politics, Obama is not very far to the left. (It is just that these days, people seem to be confusing "conservative" with "centrist". I don't care what your political views are, at least don't be daft about where they fall on the spectrum. For instance, if you think abortion should be outlawed, you're not a centrist.)

Very much so. Many have just forgotten what Center is.

I put other as Obama currently is in a center/right center stance. It's going to be interesting to see what he does. I think he learned his lesson what a dumb move it was to reach across the isle and think the republicans could be trusted. I hope he sticks to his guns and return the "NO" favor by vetoing all right wing bills, but likely he will just roll over like he has been doing.

Right answer! After all, he's the guy who got us health insurance reform based on Republican ideas!

obama will very likely remain to the left, and the democrats remaining in congress will move to the center.

however if obama is as smart as people claim he is, he will also move to the center to have a better chance at reelection.

No offense, but perhaps with the Dems controlling the administration, house and senate --- you have forgotten what 'Center' is. Obama was elected President of our country ... not of the Democratic party!

It is time for the administration to stop throwing rocks at the Republicans and blaming GW for everything that is wrong -- and START acting like the President and leader of the entire country. This means 'crossing the aisle, seeking reconciliation and listening to elected Republicans (even when they don't have the majority vote).

I hope that the mid-term election will began to restore some of the 'checks and balances' that constitute the strength of our Government.

Partisanship of any flavor, by politicians seeking only their own re-election, at any cost ... is bad enough. It is absolutely horrific (as it has been for the last two years) - when either party controls the Executive Office, House and Senate. MAYBE OUR POLITICIANS WILL STOP BEING AS POLARIZED BY PARTY LOYALTY ... WHEN PEOPLE START REALIZING THAT THEY ARE AMERICANS FIRST --- and NOT REPUBLICANS & DEMOCRATS!

The blue dogs are being eliminated so the House will get more liberal and Obama, since he hasn't gotten the message already, will keep hurtling off the cliff and doing end runs around Congress to push his radical agenda.
