Some of our local Fort Bliss soldiers have put together Royal Palace Entertainment, together with some great R&B/Rap artists some of which are also soldiers. Come join us at club Industry 1499 Lee Trevino in El Paso on Wednesday, Oct 14th (9pm til 2am) for a great night of free fun. There will be 4 local free style artists performing. Come get your groove on. Its guaranteed to be a blast! NO COVER, 18 and over.

Soldiers and Rap music, sounds like a future shooting incident in the making.

There is absolutely no shortage of hip hop or R&B night spots in El Paso.

Stereotypes are bad no matter what. Still, you have to at least appreciate where lipbalm is coming from. Week after week, month after month, year after year, military dependents post on here with questions about El Paso because they heard it is very dangerous. Yet, a lot, A LOT, of the new violence is tied to military employees. Now, to me, I don't care if violence is committed by an El Pasoan, a soldier, or an illegal, I just want the violence to stop. But I can't blame lipbalm for his comment.

Exactly, stereotyping is bad, but how do we get stereotypes in the first place? Can it be that some of it is based in truth?
