I recently moved from an apartment to a duplex and with a bigger home comes bigger bills of course. I was curious to find out everyone's Kwh usage. From 7/22 to 8/20 ours was 1024 kwh. Our duplex is 2 stories (3 bed 2.5 bath) 1,328 SF and it is just me and my husband who live here. We have cenral air, electric dryer, but a gas stove and water heater.

Our last bill, for service dates 6/23 - 7/27, was for 900 KWH. We have a single story, 1650 sf home with evaporative air, and gas oven/cooktop, hot water heater and dryer. It's just me and my husband and four dogs. I don't like sitting in the dark and have many lights on every evening. There are TV's in every room and at least two are on almost all day. We also run 2 or 3 tower fans 24/7. The bill was $111.30

I just threw mine out but it was the highest since I've been here. I paid 174 for I'm sure over 1500kwh. Still paying less than half of what I did back in Houston. 1750sqft gas stove, oven, dryer and water heater. Central A/C, 77* inside during the day and 72* at night. But I have a alot of energy sucking components.

Since I've moved in the house in April (or somewhere around there) I've used 6100kwh.
