Today I was on the east side out by the super Target, and I saw one of these smart USA - open your mind to the car that challenges the status quo.

I want one.. they are really cool!

40/45 MPG, only 8.6 gallon gas tank.. can reach speeds of 90mph. ( 40x8=320 thats great MPG for in city )

I am glad to see small smart cars like this on USA streets..

That's a new-age Geo Metro. We'll see if it gets the 'death car' rep.

Looks like a basketball shoe.

They are fine for europe but I would not want to drive one next to an Excursion or Hummer (or is it Hammer, which it what will happen if it runs into me)

Don't worry, in a few years Excursions and Hummer will have gone the way of the muscle car.

And SmartCars are remarkably loaded with safety features. Don't know how they did it.

Hummers are already on the way out. Besides what a stupid name for a big bad truck.

This is definitely a great car for city life. But driving it for several hours on the highway won't be very comfortable.

And the last thing to remind you is that, european cars are expensive to maintain.

Personally I believe Toyota Yaris is a better solution.
The MPG is slightly lower than smart but it's a normal car.
