2009 seems to be shaping up to be a very very very good for the Sun City. The Federal Courthouse, will be finished by 2009, the brand new Utep Basketball Practice Facility will be finished, El Paso Zoo renovations [africa wing], the Double tree Hotel will be open by then, [adding 2 new buildings to the El Paso skyline] The Plaza renovation project will be moving right along. What other changes are on the horizon for El Paso in 2009?

Can't wait to see the new federal courthouse finished. Plus with the Plaza hotel and the old international hotel being remodeled the downtown skyline should change ever so slightly and a little brighter at night. By the way, if anyone could posts some updated pics of the federal courthouse construction right now it would be appreciated. That building is going up slowly but surely.

You forgot the new Paul Foster Medical School. It is really looking sharp. Also, if you have not been on Loop 375 past Montana, the construction going on at Biggs is phenominal. Ft. Bliss is on target to become the biggest Army base..a Post of Excellence. Construction of the Spur between 375 and 54 should be beginning;$389 million worth. Butterfield Golf Course will see some excting new neighbors..more to come.
