Not making any statement for or against Apple products. I just think that Apple, considering were it tends to locate its stores, really ups the ante in terms of El Paso retail. This may signal other retailers that El Paso has a viable higher level retail audience.

Sadly, the one Apple Store that you'll get will be so crowded that it'll be tough to do anything without an appointment. Especially if they put it in Cielo Vista. It's nice to have tech support that you don't have to talk on a phone with, which is the upside.

We have only one in Tucson, and it's a madhouse. Still, after the "newness" wore off, it's much better now than it previously had been. You can get a same day appointment if you call early enough in the day.

Crabs will be crabs.

People ***** and moan about the things we don't have in El Paso.

Then we get a store that is in high demand and people are still not happy.

Whether you like Apple products or not, whether you can get the same products online, doesn't matter, this is a positive thing for El Paso. I hope it's crowded. Hopefully that will send a message that we need more stores like this.

Don't worry....it will be.

But that message to Apple that you need more of those stores seemingly falls on deaf ears cuz they sure as hell don't build too many. I have no idea why they won't expand a little more. A city like El Paso can easily support 3 of those stores. Apple is behind the curve IMO.
