Looking for a good place to have lunch with my husband and two year old on Thanksgiving Day. We live on the far East side, but are thinking of going to the parade that morning.

We don't have family here, and we hosted last year friends and my husband's co-workers. Don't want the hassle of cooking for nearly 30 people this year!

Thanks.

I'd suggest Luby's or HomeTown Buffet (on Viscount) for a Thanksgiving meal. My favorite Luby's is the one on Mesa by UTEP with a great window view of the mountain. IMHO Hometown is a better value & easier to find something for a picky 2 year old.

The Lancers Club is taking reservations for Thanksgiving now. They are located on Trawood, which is closer than Lubys or HomeTown Buffet.

I agree with Gary Siete, especially with a two year old. The Lancers Club is a bit more formal.

Also, many of the larger hotels have an excellent Thanksgiving buffet and most require reservations for a particular seating...meaning like at noon, one or two o'clock, etc.
