Soon, all the kiddies will have to come to school (or just go anywhere) in protective bubbles. I hope commonsense prevails with this decision - kids are waaaaaaay to cotton-woolled today. It'll only weaken them against the real world. Theres germs out there, and dirt...just get those knees good and scraped and enjoy it!
I think I may be a little twisted though..I never seemed to have scraped knees as a kid, and used to look at other kid's knees with envy. So what did I do? Holding my mother's hand, crossing the street (a quiet, small street), I tripped over *nothing* went down really really hard on one knee, removed ALL the skin (sorry if you're eating), and had to go to ER...I just wanted a small SCRAPE, jeez!
The point is, even the protection of my mom couldn't keep me outta trouble there, so just get it out of your system I reckon!
