Everytime I make a purchase, it shows me that I have the funds to make it after taking out any transactions that haven't been cleared, but reduced from my balance. Well, when I go to check my statement, they still slap me with overdraft charges despite 1) having two savings account, and 2) The balance was enough to cover it.

Wachovia is trying to make money because they lost so much that Wells Fargo bought them... so they decided you were the best way to make money off of... if you had gone with a Credit Union, you wouldn't have to worry about it... my credit union charges me ZERO dollars because they just pull it straight from my Savings Account (its happened a few times, I forgot I wrote a check a month ago that just got cashed later that month).... Its a free world... if you don't like that Wachovia is ripping you off... go to a real bank that is based on your interests, not theirs... if you bank with them, then you really shouldn't have recourse and shouldn't complain either... cause you accepted their business model to make money off of you...

From a former Wachovia employee, that feature where it takes it from your savings account to cover overdrafts has to be activated by customer request. If this is your first charge go to a branch and explain.

If you think Wachovia is bad wait until it turns into Wells Fargo. I took my behind and my money out of there to keep it away from Wells Fargo.
