The Bank Of America already notified their customers about this a month ago or so on their website. I also got an email, I think it was from that email address you mentioned, and I didn't even open it, I deleted it.
I get that from a lot of banks. I follow the rule that if they send me a request for information I delete it. I will go to the website myself or call later to see if it was true or not.
