We need a GREAT GREAT Depression with a major war or plague to kill most of the worlds population, we need to start over, everything is so over inflated, population is out of control, to many problems, to many lawsuits, to many, to many, and not enough food, money, good jobs, benefits, not enough, not enough..... We just need to start over again from the bottom......

Sounds good! Are you volunteering to lose your job, your place to live, and then starve to death? More room for the rest of us!

(Yes, that was written tongue-in-cheek.) Welcome to City Data!

uhh, actually we have all the solutions to solve those problems. We can feed everyone. We can house everyone. We can give everyone clean water. We have the technologies to use 100% renewable energies! We have the solutions. Your government, however, keeps those solutions from becoming a reality.

Who's "we"? If "your government" is the U.S., then what country (or should I say planet) has these magic resources... and can you please have your leader phone ours?

My six year old has the solution... everything should cost 1 dollar. Then, they could buy everything they ever wanted, as many houses as they wanted, (they'll each need their own house to hold all their new toys). When everything is gone, then the grown-ups can make more... she'll pay each grown up $10 per day. There will be no taxes... we already have roads and schools. People can use those.

And we should all go swimming at the Y everyday. And it should be free.

Sometimes, I wonder if she's a poster on this forum.
