They were saying on CNBC that these "distraught trader" shots the media always comes up with are often posed photos, or else the person was upset about something unrelated.
The traders are sad because the repo guy just took the keys to the Porsche. It certainly couldn't be about the mortgage on their penthouse since their back-pocket banker buddies will surely refi that, after the government forgives the million dollar drop in principal.
Why are those AIG boondogglers not in jail? Surely one of the government's Ivy League attorneys can find some trumped-up reason to put them there. What about mail fraud? Maybe they made reservations by mail?
Hope still springs eternal, even in the land of (in)opportunity.
It's looking like none of the people in this subprime situation did anything that was technically outside the law, unfortunately.

Actually I heard from other non-Ivy League lawyers that the Ivy Grads do not do trial law
