Welcome to Wall Street and the world of big banking. This is why we should never support the bailout of these banks. They are so arrogant they continue to do things like this today.

I wonder how much the tellers with 3 children get when JPM says we have to close this branch ?

Disgusting

Until this kind of thing stops - the politicians should realize no one will have any confidence in the markets because this type of thing just shows that wall street runs this country. They get rewarded no matter how bad they scr*w up ... as for us middle class folks, we're fired with NO severance if we mess up bad in our jobs.

We get terminated for no reason at all as it is. (they blame it on business conditions)

And if the polticians can't figure out that is the reason why so many voters are anti-bailout, they are truly idiots.

These guys are literally taking their lives in their own hands. If there is a severe downturn, and enough rednecks (or their wives) get put out of work and p*ssed off enough, eventually there will be one that loses it and takes a varmint gun for some hunting. You seriously don't want to deprive a redneck of his beer or ability to watch NASCAR and football. Even the Romans knew that.

Hey he must have put in some overtime.

That's the good thing about the no-bail out vote. We need to get back to what happened in the great depression - bankers and CEO's in those days would jump out windows, no golden parachute, no parachute at all. Hopefully a few of those greedy b#stards took that leap yesterday when they found their bail-out money might not be coming.

The pay scales in this country are so unbalanced.

How many of you know in your heart that you are far more intelligent then that M>>&*#(&#*^ _______ fill in the blank CEO? I know, every one of you do.

Remember......that is YOUR money that is paying them. All those $39 late fees, $7 or more a month checking accounts, $5 for money orders, Junk fees up the kazoo for origionating mortages and other loans, 10% transfer fees, and the list goes on and on.

Today junk misc fees account for 40% of any banks gross revenue.

Now think about those poor tellers who make $8/hr with no bennies. No way on earth one can make it on that kind of salary in this age. I wonder of the CEOs know this?

Well, did it ever occur to you that he was hired with one directive in mind from the board of directors, namely to sell the company before it bankrupted?

If so, then the guy earned his paycheck.
