Yes, but you could see if you could qualify for part as an "injured spouse". The terminology is very specific. Not innocent spouse, but "injured spouse."
I had to pay taxes this year and since I paid them by an automatic withdrawal from my checking account, I thought I'd get a direct deposit, too, but it didn't happen. I suppose mine will be sent according to the check schedule.
I was told that if I set up my automatic withdrawl that they would direct deposit the stimulus check into my account. That didn't happen. Got the check in the mail.
