And Obama still blames Bush lol, WRONG, Obama started it. The whole thing dragged everyone down with it. Housing prices skyrocketed because of the lowered lending requirements (easy money) and now how in the hell are these kids today just starting out supposed to buy a house.

The housing market (failed), shovel ready jobs (failed), green energy (failed)... And now Obama is working his will on healthcare.

The Real Estate market started heading down in 07. The Stock Market crashed in 08. The GM bailout also took place then. Obama took office in 09. How could he be responsible for those? I concur on the "shovel ready" jobs. First there weren't enough of them and second, it only employed those in construction. Engineering design was not included.

It doesn't happen overnight lol. Example, lets say I can't qualify for a mortgage so now they lower the standards. Now I borrow but struggle to meet the payments. But because I and many others can buy it drives the housing prices up. So now people who once could afford are forced to pay higher prices, again because qualifications are lower, (don't have to have 20% down), dog and cat are assets, don't confirm what I make bla, bla, and the spiral begins. It takes time to finally come crashing down but that is where it started. Did you really think it would happen immediately?

I was even offered a mortgage where I could pay interest only for the first 5 years. I didn't do it but many did.

As said earlier from Obama's 1995 citi bank suit to lower loan standards on mortgages in Chicago.

That's what the Democrat party has devolved to. They only want to win elections. They don't want to lead. They are learning from Obama how to shift blame and buy votes.

Like when Obama said "I won". All he cared about was winning. He doesn't care about working with anyone.
