Molly (The Wally) seems to have rolled in something, maybe fox poo- who knows- and despite shampooing her with a product that claims to remove odours, she is still smelly.
Try spraying some diluted vinegar w/water on her and let it set for a few min and then lightly rinse. The vinegar smell will go away when she is dry. Vinegar is usually good with getting rid of odors.
We have had GREAT luck with Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap. Peppermint seems to really cover any odors, or get rid of them. Our dog rolled in rotting whale- ewwwwwwww. Worst smell ever. Anyway, we use the Dr. Bronner's and he smeels nice and minty!!
My dogs do that too once in while. They stink! It does not smell like poo but some other fowl smell. And you are right, after a couple of baths that smell is still there. I always thought maybe it was like a dead bird or something else somewhere that they found and rolled on it. Dunno?
I read somewhere, think it was here awhile back, that tomato juice works pretty well. It has for us, 2 applications for the big one and 1 application for the smaller ones - they rolled in a deer carcass a couple of times. Since they dislike the baths anyway, I think it actually made them reconsider a visit to the carcass, only happened twice. We don't have any fancy shampoo for dogs and had to make do, quick! I've also heard milk works, not sure though.

You right. You don't have to go and buy fancy expensive shampoo. Just an inexpensive regular dog shampoo will do just fine. I also have heard that tomato juice works well for smelly dogs. I'd forgotten about that.
