I don't blame you. At the first sign of a flea, I'd be freaking out. My dog takes Bravecto at $58. for 90 days. If I can fudge one quarter out of the year I will, but at flea sighting #1, I'm giving it. I'm in coastal GA, but up north we could go 6 months on and 6 months off.

Yupper. One flea sighting and on it goes. Once you've been infested you never want to be again!

Mine works for 30 days so I give it and then watch intensely after 30 days. ARE THEY GONE?

We live in Florida, so yes. If I lived in a colder climate, we'd likely still do heartworm year-round, but not the flea/tick meds.

we live in a wooded area, the deer love to bring critters to the area, winter, spring summer and fall.

heartworm yes , flea medicine, yes indeed!
