In the last few days, I've been emailing a childhood friend. She now works for the ASPCA, and gave me their website. As a first time dog mama i found it very informative, and wanted to share the information with everyone. Have a great week!

Believe it or not, your state run Poison Hotline will usually be happy to talk to you about pet poisoning, too! I had to call them when Mr. Mouth decided to chew up some coffee beans - they were absolutely super and said a full 25% of their calls are from pet owners...try it if you need to, surely can't hurt!

from past experience vet will tell you to call poison control....I guess for liability some won't offer that kind of advice over the phone. It's good to know some states offer the service for free!
