So it seems that whenever a male dog comes over my female dog is fine with it and a lot of sniffing and playing. But whenever someone brings over a woman dog that she starts growling and barking at them trying to get them to leave.

how 'bout referring to them as 'female' dogs or '*******'? No such creature as a 'woman' dog.

Female on Female dog aggression is a VERY common problem.
Female on Female dog agession is also generally MUCH more serious than male/male or male/female aggression.
when 2 males fight, it tends to bemore bravado, lots of teeth, lots of noise, lots of posturing but the goal is simply to get the other male to back down or go away...serious injury is not USUALLY the goal between boys
but when 2 females fight, they are SERIOUS...theres no flash, no bravado, no "show", its a seious event that can often be fatal. Females hold a completely different rank series within a domestic dog pack hierarchy...and fights do tend to be MUCH more serious as they are hormonally driven...(and any woman will attest, never mess with a hormonal female)
first step to HELPING this issue is to SPAY your female..its better for her health, better for her mind and better for you (unles your showing and health testing you shouldn't be breedina dn unless our breeding your dog shouldn't be intact...theres SERIOUS health issues in intact females, so if hes not already go get her spayed)
second step is NEVER EVER bring a strange female dog into an existing female dogs territory and just expect them to be friends...would be like someone wlaking into your house unannounced and messing with your stuff...instead introduce them in NEUTRAL setting, best to simply walk them together and allow no nose to nose interaction (in your face is RUDE and inviting a fight in doggy language)
even when spayed she may never want other female dogs in her territory.
