However the best time of day for me is in the mornings before work, don't relish walking after a 10 hour day. So, would someone please turn the heat up, just a little? 25 degrees is not what I call decent walking weather
lol, good luck with that. I'm wishing for the exact opposite! I never have time to walk in the morning (I'm a night owl) and by late spring I'm begging for cooler temperatures in the early evenings!
85 today and tomorrow 88. At 6 a.m. it was 63. Your spring will be along any minute! We had about 2 days of spring and then it went into summer. Short shorts and flip flops on the kids going to school. And the pollen cloud is unbearable...
Bet you do not want to hear how we were at the beach Hang in there Spring will arrive.
Considering my niece lives in Santa Maria, I see the pictures daily Oddly, even though I grew up in CA and love Santa Barbra Co., I've never been a huge beach fan.... love Solvang though
I hear yah, right now we have over 4000 pollen count. You can see it in the air flying around and eveything is covered. While it's warm here I bundle up and try to keep everything on me covered as much as possible and I have wet towels waiting just inside the door when we come back from a walk to wipe my dog down and I strip down at the door and wash myself off...it's quite a procedure....Sigh the things we do for our dogs...LOL
Oh, the joys of dog ownership. My own personal health issues include not being able to tolerate cold weather; yet I live in an area of the country where -30 to -35deg. Celcius (-22 to -31 deg. F) is the norm in the dead of winter. I get up at 4:30 am every day, Monday thru Friday, to take my dog out in this ungodly weather so he can play with his ball. If I'm feeling sick, tough on me...my dog still has to have his exercise. Makes me wonder sometimes, why oh why oh why did I decide to get a Border collie - the doggie version of canine ADD? But all it takes is one look in his eyes, and that big "Are we going out yet? Are we going out yet? Are we going out YET?????" grin on his face to convince me that it was all worthwhile after all.
