I have a 2 year old Catahoula that still pees in the house. It seems some what reasonable that he might have to pee being home alone 8 hrs a day. But he will pee at other times also. Sometime right when I put his leash on to go out side he will start peeing.

Any advice on how to stop this from happening?

It seems that he knows what the leash means (we're going out!!!! yay!!!!) and is so excited to go out, that he pees on the spot. What are the non-leash-related times that he pees? Are they also times of excitement?

IF he only does it when you put leash on just dont take it off! For Safty remove the loop! Once outside clip on reg leash. They have leashes that retract into a tiny case. 4-6 ft That away you can grab & go! Hopefully as he gets olds he will stop. supercollar® | Home

IF he also peeing in between walks then you need to take him out more often & Cleanup real good.
