I see a lot of people on this section of the forums own APBT and I wanted to know if you would mind posting pictures of your babies?

I don't own any, but work with several and lovet hem to dealth. Here are a few of my shelter buddies.

Ziggy - He's a full APBT and he's about 3 1/2 years old he's pretty much the mascot of ADB seeing as he's been with us for almost three years of his life. He was a stray that was picked up.

Sugar -A Staffie and she almost got hit by a car and after being rescued she fell into the wrong hands and ended up in a research lab. That's when we (ADB) came in and got her. She has since been approved to be a special needs dog. She can visit people in hospitals and give them all kinds of attention. She loves her toys!! She and Ziggy live together on 10 acres of land now in their foster home.

Bull, J.D., And Jack - The only three out of a litter of twelve that servived being abandon with their mother (an APBT). They are 10 weeks in these pictures and were just bones. They were very sick, but strong and pushed through. They are Boxer/APBT mixes.

Peaches - An APBT who was also a rescue. She didn't get along with dogs, cats, or small animals, but loves childred. We have a specialist who came in and worked with her and she now gets along with other dogs and loves to play with them She's only in acrate because we were at an adoption. We get them out all the time.

Big Al - Who actually got in a fight over a tennis ball at an adoption while I was holding him. It wasn't fun seeing as he's so freakin strong. He is an APBT/Bulldog mix if you were wondering..

Blue - My love along beside Ziggy. I met Blue about three wees ago and my heart just melted. A couple came in to adopt him and ended up adopting Bull the puppy above. It was sad, but within I'd say 30 minutes we were all over each other!! I was loving and kissing and hugging on him lol. He's only 6 months old.

This was right after we met - Hes all over me

I hope all these babies get homes soon...With all the dogs needing homes & 'pit fighting' that has come to light I don't see how ANY one would consider bring more into this world. Keep up the good work Teddy..

Would I mind posting pictures of my babies?.. Hmm, lets see.. Of course not! lol! I love showing my babies off! I take any chance I can get to post pictures! What wonderful thread! Not only will I post pictures of my three APBTs, but I will also post pictures of the other APBTs in my life, my friends and family's dogs!

This is Brooklyn, he is our 1 year 5 month old male APBT. He was 8 weeks when we got him, he's our first APBT and the only one out of the three that is purebred. We were told the girls are purebred as well, but we have no proof that they are. That's not what's important to us though, so it doesn't matter!

This is Destiny, she's our 8 month old female APBT. When we got her we were told that she was 8 weeks old. We took her straight to the vet and the vet told us that she was not 8 weeks, she was probably around 5 or 6 weeks and they said that if we didn't bring her in when we did she would have died! Long story short, she had to have a blood transfusion among other things and today she is happy and healthy!

This is when we first got Desy (3.5 pounds)

This is her now (38 pounds)

This is Jayda, she's our 10 month old female APBT. We just took Jayda in a few months ago, she was 71/2 months when we got her. Her ex-owners abused her, neglected her, chained her up on the back porch then moved away and left her!

And here is a picture of all of them together

Okay, now here are some friends and family's APBTs...

This is my best friends mother's APBT, Vega. Vega passed not too long ago. I grew up with her and she is the reason why I love this breed so much and own three of them!

This is my cousin's APBT

A friend's two APBTs

A friend's two APBTs

This is Brooklyn's brother, he is owned by a really good friend of ours

This is Brooklyn's brother (same as above) when he was a puppy and Brooklyn's sister. This is how big Brooklyn was when we got him

There are a few more, but these are the only pictures I have on my computer. I also wanted to say that even with all of these "pit bulls" I don't know one person that has been attacked or bit by a "pit bull" and I don't know one aggressive or mean "pit bull". I do know aggressive Labs, Cocker Spaniels, Yorkies, etc. I have been attacked by a Lab, my brother was attacked by a Lab, my ex next door neighbor (when I was younger) had a Lab that attacked 5 people before it was put to sleep and our neighbors across the street from us own a Lab/ Shepherd mix that ran into our yard and attacked our male APBT. Even though the most aggressive breed I have ever been around is the Lab, I still owned a Chocolate Lab and a Black Lab and I would never suggest that they be banned!... I know that's kind of off topic, but I had to add it!

Oh PitBullMommie you hvae some gorgeous dogs and your friends have some lookers too.

Of all dogs I forgot to post my foster Runzel.
When I brought her home she was only 6 weeks old. She had been bought and then given up by this time. So she was even younger when they purchased her.-
