CILs are generally terrific organizations that support people with disabilities in all sorts of ways. One thing they do is assist folks in obtaining needed assistive technology including ramps.
Access North, CIL's in MN, recycle all sorts of equipment such as computers and ramps.
Ramps can be expensive and there are people struggling with mobility issues that would so benefit from your donation.
Thanks a million for thinking of this.

Thanks for the link. I spoke to our corporate materai manager and they have no problems donanting the used equiment to a charity for pet use, but because of human liability issues, they can;t donate to an organization where the equipment may end up for human use. Thats why they have to salvage the items.

But if there was an organization where there is no connection to human use, they see no reason not to donate it. If you happen to think of one, let me know.
An example of what I'm talking about is we had a 16' long guide ramp (used to walk on while guiding equipment up the full load ramp) that is 24" wide and would make a nice gental ramp for a 6 foot rise for an animal, but the side lip got cracked so can;t be used by us and has to be scraped for salvage. We can't send it anywhere for human use because of liability over the cracked frame, but it would make a perfect pet ramp.
