katie,
More then likely as sad as it is they will be euthanized.
Most shelters will NOT take the responsibility of rehoming fighting dogs..the risk for tragedy is way to high

Though I hate to see the dogs put to sleep. Who could take them since they've been breed to fight. Such a sad situation.

NO NO NO the judge has to decide to day!! If homes can be found they will adopt them out. The judge does not want to kill them he wants homes! But with no funds to feed and care for them they will be put to sleep...

They showed pups & mommies being taken to an undisclosed place when this 1st happened. So I do not know what is adoptable now. It was on ch 4 [wash DC news]

I know it's up to the judge as the dogs are now considered abandoned property but where have you read the judge is looking for homes??

He will do the same thing here he does with humans and take into consideration the reports from experts on this..the shelters, the humane society etc.
As an animal lover I truly hate this but I would be extremely surprised if the dogs are allowed to be adopted...there is way way to much risk involved

puppies may be spared and adopted...I don't think the adult dogs will have the same outcome
