Hi,
It’s been 14yrs since I last lived in Michigan. I’m considering moving back due to family. I’m interested in Farmington Hills. Please provide some updated insight on the area as well as Junior/High School. Thank you.

It's a very nice area. What specifically do you want to know?

Farmington is a small city with a little downtown that has a couple of fund places in it. Even a little nightlife. They used to have a theater troupe in a barn just outside of town. Not sure whether it is still active.

Hills is suburban sprawl. however it is older and nicer than most modern suburban sprawl. Houses with some character here and there, bigger lots, hills a nice little park.

Not sure about farmington city but hills falls into two or three (or maybe four or five)different school districts. All are quite good.

You have decent access to Detroit, Ferndale, Royal Oak and Kensington Metropark/Island Lake. If you like shopping, Novi is right next door. Not far from Ann Arbor. Really good freeway access to go an almost any direction.

Traffic is not charming but not the worst in SE MI.
