I have a 6 month old daughter and am looking for a quality daycare while I work (20th Ave x Franklin St). Any suggestions? I know many places have a waiting list, and can work with that. We're willing to be on a waiting list, but are unsure where to start looking for a truly good place for her.

Thanks.

This is a long wait, but I worked at Temple Emanuel Preschool (1st and Grape Street) for over 20 years and highly recommend that place. (You don't have to be Jewish.) The child does need to be 2, but not potty-trained.
There are also places in the neighborhood of Park Hill, but I do not know the details. Sorry, I do not know of any infant care.

I will be moving to Denver in March or April. We are going to look for jobs once we arrive. My daughter is 6 months old now. I am starting to get concerned that we won't be able to find good day care for her. I know that there are waiting lists, but I have no idea where I'll be working or living, for that matter! Have any of you gone through this? Both my husband and I need to work (I can't stay home with the baby). And I don't know ANYONE in Denver. Is it suggested to put the baby on a waiting list before we move and hope that we live/work around that area? I'm not really sure what to do.

I don't know; maybe you should find the job first. Some employers have arrangements with area day care centers and I think then you get priority.
