Can I remove reputation points from you?

This will be my 8th May in Denver and I have yet to see more than barely a dusting on rooftops the first week of May. I know the old timers talk about some May blizzard back in the 20th Century, but I'd like to think Global Warming has mitigated our chances of another one!

I skied at Eldora yesterday and I should have used water skis. Temps in the mid 40s, slushy mid-April conditions. It was 62 at my house (8300') the other day! We NEED SNOW!
How about rain showers for you guys down there and SNOW up here?
I know... I've lived here long enough to know that come April we will be buried. Right after the ski areas close. Never fails!
Rain down here, snow up there - sounds perfect!

Its happened a few times in the past 15 years. Plus, we often get frosts in May, which is why we natives and long timers don't put our tomato plants in till Memorial Day.

I'm in total agreement here. Not to mention, it's so windy it's not even pleasant to be outside. I need to water my trees and grass but know it will all end up on the neighbors landscaping.

We normally plant tomatoes/vegetables the second week of May, but we have stuff to cover them if it could frost.

I was up for the weekend and couldn't believe how nice it was. We went hiking in Eldorado Canyon and were sweating... Until the sun started to set, got a little chilly then.

I agree that there needs to be more snow. Soon.
