Goodberry's

Yesterday I was having lunch with two former Arvada cops and we talked about always going for coffee at Goodberry's. They always took good care of us.

Does anyone remember the names of 3.2 clubs back in the 70's? The only one that I can remember was called "My Sweet Lass". I used to go to those on a regular basis.

I also somehow got in to PT's even though I was underage.

I went through a country phase, and went to Ollie's Roundup. Hooked up with a girl there one night......back when it was safe to do so......

Here's some, I, um, kind of made my rounds in those establishments back in the day!

Draught House--88th and Washington--Thornton
Bachannal--2000 block of West Evans--Denver
Psychiatrist--3rd and Detroit--Denver
The Tower--1000 block of South Colorado Blvd.--Denver (was just south of Celebrity Sports Center)
Galaxy--6000 block of West Alameda--Lakewood (just a ways east of Villa Italia Mall)

Will think of a few more later!

Sam's (on Lookout Mountain)

Skunk Kreek Inn which later became Pandora's Box (in Boulder)

Score Minus Two was shut down around 1982 and then subsequently re-opened in January of 1984 as The Night Flight. Lasted about 6 months.

This thread has been in my tromping grounds of late. Ate at Griffths a lot, Goodberrys many times. Went to the Jr. High in 7th grade when it was Arvada jr. High before it was east Arvada. They opened the new high school so the jr. High moved to the old high school down the road, so I finished up Jr. High there. Officer maccarthy was a regular at most events in the area. Any one remember when Fitzmorris elementary had cottage schools in houses?
