Hello,

I would like to know if family of 4 ( Myself, Spouse , 2 kids ( 7 year and 3 Year) stay in 1 Bed Room apartment in Aurora, Englewood and Denver.

Do apartments allow 2 kids as occupants on lease of 1 BR?

The amount of space required based on number of occupants varies from city to city. And individual landlords may have their own occupancy standards.

What is your budget? Do you have a work location that you want to be close to?

According to https://www.denvergov.org/content/da..._DRAFT_LTG.pdf the City of Denver has no limit on number of related people in a "dwelling unit", regardless of number of bedrooms.

"The number of bedrooms are not considered in the definitions of single unit dwelling, two-unit dwelling or multi-unit dwelling."

"
Individuals related by blood, marriage or adoption are exempt from these occupancy limits"

Also "

• The Colorado Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, marital status, family status (children under 18 and pregnant women), religion or disability."

"

The Federal Fair Housing Act prohibits housing discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, and familial status (i.e., presence of children under the age of 18 in the household or pregnancy)."

But the City of Denver is not Aurora or Englewood, which may have differing rules.

I would think a search of those municipalities web sites would provide the needed information.

This doesn't seem like a good idea.
