I guess it's northern Lakewood. Not super walkable (most restaurants are 1+ miles away) but the neighborhood is nice, there are decent views, and many lots offer privacy. Any reason I shouldn't buy a house there? Walkability isn't a priority for me.

Great area. No reason not to buy in that neighborhood if you love the house.

There is a bowling alley tucked under what used to be Golds Market on the northwest corner of 26th and Kipling.

I lived close to there from 2013 to 2015, a nice area to be in as it is central to a lot of things in the Denver metro area. And having proximity to Crown Hill Park is a big plus as that is a nice oasis in the city. Even better if you can walk to the park rather than drive as the parking lot there has tons of smash and grab vehicle break ins.

Paramount Bowl, 26th/Kipling. Probably a good time, take your family. They were full this past Saturday night. Great area, if not a little old-fashioned.

It's a fine area, nothing to worry about. The park and cemetary keep it peaceful for the most part.

There's also a karaoke-themed dive bar right at the corner that I've had many a decent time in.
