Everytime it rains the dandelions spread. Mowing the lawn and plucking patches works decent, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with a spreader and weed killer. Does this work well in Denver to rid all of the dandelions? Or what would you recommend?

Ortho Weed B Gon liquid works on dandelions. I've found Weed & Feed pellets tend to be hit or miss.

My daughter loves their flowers so I let her pick them. Once all the flowers are gone I spray with Scott's. It seems to work every year.

Ortho Weed B Gon
This will work great IF done at temps greater than 70F (full strength as per label) (Needs plant GROWTH to activate hormone change, greenery / leaves outgrow the roots and plant starves itself).

Spot spray and add a teaspoon of liquid dish soap as a surfactant (very important with Dandelions (waxy leaves). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surfactant

Weed and Feed is NOT good (kills a lot of HEALTHY soil microbes and worms). Terrible for stormwater / run-off'

My great grandfather would recommend some vinegar and oil with salt & pepper.

If you don't feel like spending a lot of money on a weed popper, these work well.

Dandelions are a piece of cake compared to white clover. The tap root on that crap can grow to be a foot long.
