I wish I lived in your fine city. Not just because of this list but it does highlight some of what I love about Denver.

I think Denver's a a fine city but most of the items in that article are things that almost any major US city has. For visitors wanting to see what really makes Denver Denver, go to:

1) Red Rocks Amphitheater

2) The Nat'l Western Stock Show

3) The Creepy Blue Horse at the Airport and the not-so-Creepy Blue Bear at the convention center.

4) A daytrip to Rocky Mountain National Park

5) A front range 14er (e.g. Grays/Torreys)

6) The US Mint

7) Campus Lounge by UD (for Chile Verde)

8) The Platte River trail on a sunny day in January

8) REI Flagship Store (1 of just three, but we all know that REI really = Seattle)

10) A 20 mile drive East of downtown to Watkins, CO so that you can look back west and say, "Dang, it's really not in the mountains at all is it?"

Nice article but I don't need 30 reasons....it's my home and I can honestly say I've never lived in a place as good as Denver-

I'm glad I'm moving back-
