My stomach has hurt all day over this and trying to explain it to my children was a sad moment for me. They are just old enough to understand this (9 and 12). My older son's first reaction was to try and reassure his younger brother (and himself) that there are a lot of good people in the world and we can't let this stop us from living. Amazing and true. We all need to hold on to that. We prayed and will continue to do so for that peace that surpasses all understanding. Lots of love going out to my old hometown and to my brother in law who was a Littleton cop during Columbine and now works for Arapahoe County. Sad sad day in this country and especially in beautiful Colorado where we will be visiting in a few weeks. You are in our thoughts and prayers!

I wish there were something more that we could do from across the miles. We will check into giving blood if that is what is required.

I just heard of the incendary devices in the apartment, this was well planned. There is something more to this, but who knows. He had such a promising future from what I understand and threw it all away, plus the countless lives and families affected by his 'terrorism".

Living in Florida we have had our share of violence, so our prayers go out all of you. I have a friend that I have known since college who lives in the Denver area (big place, but you never know), we are waiting for his or his wifes reply. I am hopeful they are fine, but it is testimony how far one's person actions affects so many.

God Bless and Comfort You (all)!

Prayers for all who have been touched in any way by this tragedy. There are really no words to express the sorrow for those who were murdered, those who are injured, and for all the families and friends suffering by this act of violence.

I know much has changed since I was there, more changed today sadly.
Prayers to all to get through this difficult time...life will never be the same for some.

Prayers sent to all affected by this deranged, evil individual. This includes prayers for the perp's family, apparently upstanding folk and loved in their community.

A tragedy like this can harden us. We can't allow that to happen.
