My fiancee and I are trying to decide where to live after we get married. I am worried about both of our commutes. I work in Park Hill close to 25th and Monaco beginning at 8 AM so I will have an early morning commute. My fiancee works in Boulder and begins at 12PM. We were thinking Arvada would be a good place to live so he can take 93 to work and I can take I-70. Any idea what our drive times would be like during those times of day? Would there be a better place to consider?

Try google maps for the commute times. Depending on where in Arvada, I wouldn't necessarily take Highway 93 into Boulder.

I agree. US 36 is a good road. Both parties could use it in their commutes.

Obviously she'll be facing more traffic than he does, depending on what time of day both go home.

They could live closer to 36 than Arvada too.

I wouldn't really worry about your fiance's commute, at that time there's not much of a chance of hitting too much traffic. What about the bus? You could take an express bus from most suburbs.

Depends on whether the fiance needs to be at work at 12N or 12MN. At noon, there's a lot of traffic in Arvada, also in Boulder. There is a lot of traffic in Boulder all the time, actually. I was a visiting nurse in the Arvada area at one time; you'd be surprised how backed up Wadsworth can get during the day.
