I''m interested in seeing who is referred to you. I am also looking for a dentist. My plan is not taken here but they tell me I pay the dentist and send the bill into my insurance company and they will reimburse me.

from PA, When I moved from PA to Dover I could only find one dental group within my insurance who was accepting new patients. That was Dover Dental. I only saw them for cleanings and checkups. I had no need for other services.

I think they have recently been bought by someone other than the owners when I began there. I can tell you that I never saw a dentist..only the hygienist. I don't think there is a dentist there every day. They schedule other dental work on certain days when the doctor is on site.

Also, I couldn't get appointments every six months. It ran more like every seven to eight months, and that was booking right after the cleanings were finished in the office.

Sorry I can't be more help. I hope you aren't in too much discomfort. I suggest you simply start hitting the Yellow Pages, and try to get in somewhere. It may not be easy to get an appointment. There aren't too many frequent posters here on the DE C-D site, so you may wait for awhile to get a personal recommendation.

Take care! Hope you find help soon.

Default Dentist in Dover

You'll have to verify your insurance. I had a crown placed by Drs. Cammarato and Aloe with very good results, phone 302-736-6631 they're on State St. in Dover. Dr. Wayne Thomas is a long practicing dentist in Dover, also on State St., his # 302-697-1152. Dr. Thomas is very good and appointments have always been available for me and my family. He must be good he's a Temple grad ; ).

can't go wrong with professionals on State Street....when you're over there be sure to cruise by 29 S. Bradford St, and let me know how the place looks. That's where I used to live growing up

I have metlife insurance and i went to see Dr. Patel .When I first went to Dr. Patel, I needed substantial work done and he worked with me to set up payments so I could get my teeth fixed. He has state of the art dental equipment.Practice called american Dental Care. Right on N Dupont Hwy, dover and phone no is 302-763-7634. I believe they accept many insurance.

Thanks,
